Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about AI Seller Opportunities, credits, referrals, the Vendor Marketplace, AI tools, and membership.

General

What is WeReferAgents?

WeReferAgents is an AI-powered platform for real estate professionals. It surfaces AI-ranked Seller Opportunities in your market, connects you with referral partners nationwide, and gives you AI productivity tools, a CRM and pipeline, marketing tools, and a Vendor Marketplace — all in one place.

How does WeReferAgents work?

Our technology analyzes multiple lawful property and ownership signals and applies proprietary scoring to identify homeowners who may be more likely to consider selling. Those opportunities are matched to agents by market, and you unlock the ones you choose using Opportunity Credits, contact the homeowners yourself, and track everything in your workspace. You can also send and receive agent referrals and browse the Vendor Marketplace.

Is WeReferAgents free?

Creating an account, building your professional profile, appearing in the agent directory, and browsing the platform are free. Unlocking Seller Opportunities uses Opportunity Credits, which are included with a paid membership plan or purchased separately. Some AI and marketing tools are part of paid plans.

How do I create an account?

Select Join Free, enter your details, and confirm your email. You can complete your professional profile and start exploring your market right away — no credit card required to get started.

What membership plans are available?

There are three monthly plans: Starter ($29/mo, 5 opportunity unlocks), Professional ($79/mo, 20 unlocks), and Elite ($199/mo, 60 unlocks). Elite also includes advanced filters and analytics, multiple saved markets, and marketing assistance. See the Pricing page for current details.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel from your billing settings at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals, and your paid features stay active through the end of the current billing period. Your account and free profile remain. See our Payment & Cancellation Policy.

AI Seller Opportunities

What is an AI Seller Opportunity?

It is a property and homeowner that our technology has identified as potentially more likely to consider selling, along with an Opportunity Score to help you prioritize. It is an informational business opportunity for your prospecting — not a confirmed seller or a guaranteed listing.

How are seller opportunities identified?

Opportunities are created by analyzing multiple lawful property and ownership signals together with proprietary scoring and matching technology. We combine these signals to estimate relative likelihood; we do not have inside knowledge of any homeowner's actual plans.

Are these homeowners guaranteed to be selling?

No. Seller interest has not been independently confirmed. An Opportunity Score reflects signals and probability, not a homeowner's stated intention to sell.

Does WeReferAgents guarantee listings?

No. We do not guarantee seller motivation, contact success, listing appointments, listing agreements, or closed transactions. Results depend on your outreach, your market, and many factors outside the platform.

Why do opportunities have an AI score?

The Opportunity Score is a prioritization aid. It lets you spend your time and credits on the prospects our scoring suggests are most worth a closer look, rather than working a list at random.

What does the Opportunity Score mean?

It is a relative indicator derived from the combined property and ownership signals for that record. A higher score suggests stronger signals; it is not a promise that the homeowner will sell or respond.

How often are opportunities added?

New opportunities are added on an ongoing basis as fresh signals become available. Volume varies by market and over time.

How do I unlock an opportunity?

Review the preview, and when it looks like a fit, unlock it with one Opportunity Credit. The full details then move into your workspace so you can begin working the prospect.

What information becomes available after unlocking?

Unlocking reveals the full property profile behind the score and the available owner and contact information, and adds the opportunity to your CRM and pipeline so you can log notes and follow-ups.

Are opportunities exclusive?

Seller Opportunities are not sold as exclusive territory. Depending on the market and availability, more than one agent may unlock the same opportunity — so a prompt, professional first contact matters.

Can another agent unlock the same opportunity?

Yes, that is possible. Because opportunities are not guaranteed to be exclusive, treat every unlocked prospect as time-sensitive.

Why do some areas have more opportunities than others?

Opportunity volume reflects the signals available in each area and normal differences in market size and activity. Denser or more active markets tend to surface more opportunities.

What happens if there are no opportunities in my market?

You can save your market to be notified as new opportunities appear, broaden your service area, and use the referral network and AI tools in the meantime. No credits are spent while you wait.

Opportunity Credits

What are Opportunity Credits?

Opportunity Credits are the currency you use to unlock Seller Opportunities. One credit unlocks one opportunity's full details. Credits are included with your membership plan each billing cycle.

How are credits used?

A single credit is deducted when you unlock an opportunity. Browsing, previewing, saving markets, and using most other features do not cost credits.

Do credits expire?

Unused plan credits roll over for up to three billing cycles, giving you flexibility from month to month. Credits that remain beyond that window expire.

Can I buy additional credits?

Yes. If you use up your plan's monthly allotment, you can purchase additional Opportunity Credits so you never have to pause your prospecting.

What happens if I run out?

You can keep browsing and previewing opportunities for free, upgrade your plan for a larger monthly allotment, or buy additional credits to continue unlocking right away.

What happens after I unlock an opportunity?

The full details are added to your workspace, and the credit is spent. Credits are generally non-refundable once used, but if the unlocked data is unusable in a way our policy covers, you may qualify to have the credit restored — see Credit Protection below.

Credit Protection

What if the phone number is disconnected?

A disconnected number generally qualifies for a credit review. Submit a request and, after verification, an eligible credit is restored.

What if the phone number belongs to the wrong person?

A wrong-person contact generally qualifies. If the contact information reaches someone other than the property owner on record, request a review.

What if the record is duplicated?

Duplicate records generally qualify. If you unlocked the same property twice, the duplicate credit can be restored after verification.

What if the owner information is materially incorrect?

Materially incorrect owner information generally qualifies. Minor differences do not, but material errors that make the record unusable do.

What if contact information is unavailable?

If contact information was represented as available but is in fact missing, that generally qualifies for a review.

Which situations generally qualify for a credit review?

Wrong number, disconnected number, wrong person, duplicate record, materially incorrect owner information, contact information represented as available but missing, and administrative errors. Credits are restored only after verification.

Which situations generally do not qualify?

No answer, left a voicemail, owner not interested, owner already working with another agent, you did not win the listing, or the transaction did not close. These are normal parts of prospecting rather than data defects. Full details are in the Credit Protection Policy.

Agent Referrals

How do referrals work?

When you have a client you cannot serve — a different city, price point, or specialty — you can refer them to another agent on the platform and track the referral through to closing. You can also receive referrals sent to you.

How are referral partners selected?

You choose. Search the agent directory by location and specialty, review profiles, and our AI can suggest strong matches and explain why they fit. The decision to connect is always yours.

How are referral fees handled?

The referral fee is agreed directly between the two agents. WeReferAgents can suggest a market-informed referral fee as guidance, but the platform does not set or collect the fee for you — the agreement and payment are between the professionals involved.

Can I send referrals nationwide?

Yes. The network spans agents across the country, so you can refer clients relocating or buying in markets you do not serve.

Can I receive referrals?

Yes. A complete profile with clear service areas and specialties helps other agents find and choose you when they have a client to refer.

Can I choose who receives my referral?

Yes. You select the specific agent you want to send a referral to, so you stay in control of who represents your client.

Vendor Marketplace

What is the Vendor Marketplace?

It is a directory of real estate service providers — photographers, lenders, title companies, contractors, stagers, and more — that agents can browse by category and service area and recommend to clients.

Can I list my own business?

Yes. Use List Your Business to create a vendor profile with your categories, service areas, gallery, and business details. You can start with a free listing or choose a paid plan.

What do paid vendor plans include?

Paid plans and listing boosts provide enhanced visibility and placement in the directory, a richer profile, and a featured badge. Higher-ranked placement helps agents discover your business first.

How do agents contact vendors?

Agents can view a vendor's profile and request a quote or get in touch through the platform. Vendors receive these requests and can respond directly.

Are vendor listings reviewed?

Vendor listings are subject to review, and agents can leave reviews based on their experience, helping keep the marketplace trustworthy.

AI Tools

What does the AI assistant do?

Our AI tools help you work faster: prioritizing opportunities, drafting profile bios and listing descriptions, suggesting referral matches, offering market and referral-fee guidance, and drafting follow-up messages you can edit and send.

Does AI contact homeowners?

No. AI does not call, text, or email homeowners on your behalf. You are the licensed professional responsible for all outreach and communication.

Does AI replace agents?

No. AI assists agents. Agents remain responsible for communications, negotiations, representation, and compliance.

Does AI prepare call scripts?

AI can help you prepare talking points and outreach drafts as a starting point. Always review and adapt them to your client, your market, and applicable rules before using them.

Can AI help me follow up?

Yes. AI can draft follow-up messages and reminders to help you stay consistent, but you decide what to send and when. See our AI Disclosure for how our AI features work and their limits.

Membership

Can I upgrade?

Yes. You can upgrade at any time from your billing settings to get a larger monthly credit allotment and additional features.

Can I downgrade?

Yes. You can move to a lower plan; the change applies going forward so you keep the benefits you have already paid for during the current period.

Can I cancel?

Yes, anytime. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period.

What happens after cancellation?

Your paid features remain active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your membership does not renew and paid features pause.

Will I lose my account?

No. Your account and free profile remain after cancellation, so you can keep appearing in the directory and can resubscribe whenever you like.

What happens to my credits?

Credits follow the standard rollover and expiration rules. Subscription payments are generally non-refundable after the billing period begins, and used credits are generally non-refundable except where Credit Protection applies. See the Payment & Cancellation Policy.
